Lord, It is time for Your Body, Your people, to stand up and declare our power! We lift our prayers! We lift our belief in righteousness! Your majesty and power prevail over everything! Let us declare here and now, perverted sex education for five year olds ends now! Power plays that kill innocents, end now! Who can march into eternity burdened with such massive guilt? If these are not the issues God has given you to steward, please state our own. Lord God, we ask now for the world to lift a mighty prayer against evil!
These times, these days we never thought we would see in our country, these challenges against God and against Christians are simply a call. We are the remnant and God always preserves a remnant that loves and stands in the gap when the world loses its way. Would we prefer God hadn't placed us here for such a time as this? Probably. But He did. So we stand and we defend the rights, the sacrifices and the morals of His Body, the Ten Commandments, and a call sent forth from the beginning of time.
Prayer is a wonderful gift. The privilege of praying for others, the comfort of praying in troubling situations, and prayers of gratitude for God’s goodness and love.
The storms of life come. And sometimes they seem to come back to back to back, a true storm of trouble. That is where faith, built carefully over the good times, comes out of you to buoy you up and remind you God has prepared you and gifted you for this moment in time.
Standing firm can be the best feeling ever. Trusting God, choosing to move ahead and not quit ends up helping us mentally, spiritually and even physically. Worry makes the heart grow sick. There is no benefit to worry. Worry insults God and exhibits a lack of faith.
I believe I am more called today than at any other time in my life. Called to pray. Called to trust God. Called to believe God is exactly who He says He is. And called to do everything in my power to achieve everything God has asked me to achieve!
Fear is a liar. It tells you to stop. Stop believing, stop trying, stop obeying God and stop Going in the direction God Himself has asked you to go. When fear comes, stop! Trust God, remember all the blessings and successes He has led you to and through! And then move fearlessly ahead. You're fearlessly and wonderfully made.
Lord God, Thank You for allowing me to see a glimpse of the way warriors feel when they go off to war. There must be nobility, a sense of righteousness that needs to be addressed. There must be an issue larger than one person. Understanding there is greater good involved when warriors lay down their lives helps us keep priorities in order. Thank You, Father, for standards and ethics and for being willing to stand boldly for righteousness.
“I, the Lord, have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will take you by the hand and guard you, and I will give you to my people, Israel, as a symbol of my covenant with them. And you will be a light to guide the nations. Isaiah 42:6
