You’re Not Finished Yet
Our job is to trust and believe. When we know God, when we read the Word daily and know Him to be truthful, we will not despair. God said it. That settles it.
It is a rich blessing to accept who we are in Christ. We come to this life equipped and led to a call and a purpose. Once we discover that anointing, we are to press into it, hear and obey God’s promptings and follow our life’s goals.
It is a miraculous truth that we can do far more than we think we can. God sets the tools we must have and the people we need in front of us. He prompts. He leads. He helps us understand life has purpose and we are literally equipped to succeed beyond our wildest imagination.
I think how often I have stopped in my tasks, giving in to age, to weakness and pain in hips and back. I understand how I am meant, at such times, to trust God’s word is true, to focus past the pain and allow God’s healing grace to prevail.
God’s design is perfect. He knows when we focus our time and talent on Kingdom projects, we move beyond pain and self-consciousness. Creative juices start to flow. We visualize clever inventions. I cannot prove it but my experience indicates inspired effort and commitment are more healing than most pills.
Persevere! No matter what. Obstacles are stepping stones to greatness. Press on. Focus on the goal and never give up. God is waiting to bless you.
Father God, thank You for including me in Your divine plans. Thank You for gifting me with a purpose and the skills to fulfill everything You ask from me. How I love to visualize Your expansive view of humanity, Your willingness to bless us, give us second chances, and patiently nurture us until we become mature enough to respond to Your call.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
