The storms of life come. And sometimes they seem to come back to back to back, a true storm of trouble. That is where faith, built carefully over the good times, comes out of you, to buoy you up and remind you God has prepared you and gifted you for such a time as this. One of the reasons I keep a gratitude journal is because life is where we live and I know that just as the good times come and go, so will the bad times. When I feel inundated by setbacks, when I’m looking up and asking God where He is, I remember to grab that gratitude journal and start reading the pages of blessings God had poured out on me.

Standing firm can actually be the best feeling ever. Trusting God, choosing to move ahead and not quit ends up helping us mentally, spiritually and even physically. Worry makes the heart grow sick. There is no upside to fear. It insults God and exhibits a lack of faith. Bury your worries inside a grateful heart.

I believe I am more called today than at any other time in my life. Called to pray. Called to trust God. Called to believe God is exactly who He says He is. And called to do everything in my power to achieve everything God has asked me to achieve!

Fear is a liar. It tells you to stop. Stop believing, stop trying, stop obeying God and stop Going in the direction God Himself has asked you to go. When fear comes, take control. Trust God, remember all the blessings and successes He has led you to and through! And then move ahead. You're fearlessly and wonderfully made.

Dear Father, I am so grateful I am Your child. First, You gave me life, and then You gave me eternity. And then You gifted me with the Bible and the immense freedom to read it, own it, go to church and celebrate my Christianity openly. In a world where we still see martyrs die, just because they worship Jesus and teach others about His life, we cannot take our Christian freedom for granted. For every great grandparent, parent, aunt, uncle, and loving relative who laid down their life to pray a child into the Kingdom of God, I thank you! Help me to live with intention, with obedience and purpose as I travel in this world. And oh, dear God, how I anticipate the Harvest Feast we will all enjoy one day

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18
