Gaining a Spiritual view of eternal things requires faith in our unseen God. Fortunately, according to Scriptrure, He has given each of us an equal measure of faith. Romans 12:3 says, “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
A measure of faith to each of us. Engage with the Father, allow the living God to become as real to you as the things you can touch here in earth. The test has always been to see if our faith is big enough to live our lives trusting our loving God.
Knowing God walks ahead of us, moving obstacles, performing miracles, opening the path for His plan for our lives. The problems arise when we jump off the path, either left or right, and follow our own desires. That’s where the brambles lie, the pitfalls and the traps. Follow God. Avoid the dreaded delays and walls.
It is pure revelation to affirm God has all our worries and concerns safe in His care. Most things we worry about are out of our control. Nothing is out of His. Relax. Hand all concerns to God. Do everything He asks us to do. Take hold of His perfect peace.
As Believers, we never walk alone. Whether going through debt, health problems, relational issues or other challenges, reach out, grab God’s hand and rejoice. He is always there and ready to help. If we fail to believe that, we will fail to reach out. We will miss the blessings He is waiting to give.
The scripture is simple. Believe. Trust. Never give up. The things we see, the reality we’ve always known, the visible vs the spiritual, it’s an endless struggle. Like icebergs, which are barely visible above the ater line, our God is bigger than we imagine. Believe!
Dear Lord, The Spiritual side of Heaven, of the Christian walk, is easy for us to leave to you. We are so closely aligned with world views, with three-dimensional logic, it seems only Your understanding can fathom the deeper and more complex feelings that are not visible to us. Help me know both physical and spiritual revelation are important to our growth as we follow Jesus in our lives.
Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel. 1 Corinthians 14:12
