Human egos and desires are insatiable when it comes to the things we covet. For that reason, temptations are everywhere. We are easily derailed. Staying focused on the Lord is imperative.
Following Jeaus, trying every day to understand His ways, is where our growth spurts typically kick in. Jesus loved the three-strand cord. Working with others, adding our gifts and talents to theirs, is the teamwork way to accomplish the goals God gives us. Rejoice in everyone's favorable results.

Help me stay faithful to my call, never surrendering my purpose because someone suggests another calling. I repent, Lord, that I ever give heed to voices that are louder than Yours.
Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…
