We call Jesus our friend. He escorts us straight to the Father. Always believe God is with you, loving, blessing and providing everything you need. No need to worry. In the end, anxiety is a giant waste of time. Faith and trust weave comfort around us. We revel in God’s love. We see the futility of earthly endeavors for what they are: distractions! It is the enemy’s goal to keep us too distracted to do the Father’s will. Hold fast to God’s words and keep your feet on the path Jesus made for us to follow.
Just when we think we cannot go on, when we believe we have reached the end of our strength, God arrives! He is Cavalry, Redeemer and Father. Never doubt His love and His rescuing powers. He holds us in His hands and His heart. Always. Forever. From the beginning to the end. This is a love so great we cannot truly comprehend it. But it is God and He is everything He said He was. And more.
There will always be moments of stress or even fear. Instead of going inside yourself, thinking you must fix or change what is happening, turn to God. Trust Him to carry you through the situation. Occasionally, when landing in a jet, the plane bounces and we feel that slight panic of lost control. That is when we’re reminded of the One who stills the waves and stops the winds. Be assured that same One has control in financial crisis and when troubles come. He is the Controller of our Lives.
Absolutely nothing can take us away from God. Even if we run, try to hide, stray intentionally far from Him. Once we stop to rest, He is with us. We are His beloved.
Dear Lord, How I treasure our time together, how I take comfort and calm to new levels when I remember we are walking side by side. The Bible is filled with Your promises. Sometimes I love to look for them and write them in my journal. It is wonderful to seek specific promises just because then they feel as if they are just for me, a perfect word in a perfect moment. Thank You God for such personal love.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
