Christians, like the rest of the world, make things more difficult than they need to be. Our indwelling Holy Spirit speaks.  He convicts. He warns us of impending danger.  And people. He brings clarity to God’s will in our lives. We need to focus on that still, small voice. Listen and obey. What an incredible blessing!

The Holy Spirit is the helper Jesus promised would come to them after He left.  He is ever present. He speaks in whispers, advising, encouraging, uplifting, always wanting the best for everyone. Jesus knew His Believers would feel abandoned once He left. What a loving gift He left for us.

We, of course, are meant to help in the harvest of souls, to be salt and light.  It is through living blessed and overcoming, that others come and ask us to reveal our secret to life. This is when we testify. This is when we take no credit ourselves but, instead, glorify God, His commandments, and His recipe for living a Word-based life.

I’ve always longed to have been born at the time when Jesus walked the earth. Because I am here now instead, I understand this is a better time.  The Holy Spirit makes our Spirit lives tangible because those messages we get are evidential.  Jesus taught through stories and life.  The Holy Spirit leads us in prayers for others, enlightens us regarding healing, human needs, and the special requests God has for us when it comes to loving others.

Living a life connected to and loving God leads to peaceful days, and more orderly life. When I see the young families in church I usually see discipline, love, sacrifice and true happiness. The contrast is  obvious when compared to woke and worldly families.

The Holy Spirit is a friend. And much more.  He represents Jesus in an authentic way just as Jesus promised He would when He ascended.

Father God, thank You for sending us the Holy Spirit.  With the same heart for humanity we associate with the Holy Trinity, we feel love, protection and wisdom when He speaks.  What a rich blessing we have been given.  Many walked close to Jesus.  They walked dusty roads with Him, heard Him tell His stories, and watched Him deal with healing.  They learned how He handled enemies and conflict.  They learned how to convey grace and forgiveness and love.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.  John 14:26
