Have you been asking God for healing? For financial relief? A lost child? Do not give up on God. He sees time in a much different way than we do. Remember, He was standing on a newly cooled mountain range as He formed the oceans and the seas. He called Adam to name all the animals while the first frogs were climbing out of glistening wetlands.
Bless our God for His tender mercies! He loves to answer our prayers and to bless us with the things we ask for. If we can move mountains, we can be healed. We can find financial freedom. God’s answers are always, ‘Yes and Amen.” We were given faith the size of a mustard seed. That is just the beginning of our faith. We build on it. Remember Joseph? He knew he had a powerful destiny because God gave him dreams. He heard and knew God was with him. He knew and trusted God’s voice. This level of faith comes at a cost of earnest and continual prayer. It comes with mockery and shaming. Joseph’s many brothers made fun of him and laughed at his dreams.
Joseph relied on God. No matter what. And God stayed with him. Through betrayal, slavery, false accusation, a forgetful cup bearer, and a powerful famine. God held Joseph safe as He arranged a way to save millions from starvation. That is amazing. So, too, does God see you. And your situation. Those who believe in the face of worldly scorn are unique. The gift of faith is available to everyone.
God, I repent right now for every time I have listened to the world, to the negative report that says You do not hear and You do not care. You love me as You loved Joseph. My famine might be my health or my lost child but I believe You care as much about my problem as You cared about Joseph, Egypt, and the restoration of twelve brothers. Thank You for relationships. Thank You for answered prayers.
